Church Minshull WI had their Summer Trip to Llangollen on Monday 3rd August, and enjoyed a super evening on the narrowboat "Eirlys" which is the Welsh word for snowdrop.
We had a fish & chip supper as we floated through beautiful scenery, even the weather was kind to us.
The highlight of the trip was when we serenely travelled across the Pontcysylite Aqueduct , called locally "The stream in the sky"
What a perfect way to experience Thomas Telford's masterpiece.
A Great evening was had by all.
