CHAIRMANS REPORT CM VH Treasurer Report & Accounts

The Village Hall has a dedicated committee of trustees who meet regularly on a monthly basis.

The current Trustees listed at the bottom of the Village Hall Main Page.

The Trustees have to maintain the hall and make it available for hire within a large range of legislation including:

• The Village Hall constitution
• The Charities Act and the Charity Commission
• All legislation relating to the maintenance and operation of buildings open to the general public.

One of the main duties of the trustees is to ensure that the facility is kept in a condition that makes it safe for all to use.

In recent years we have been successful in obtaining grants from a number of bodies to improve facilities at the hall, these include:

• Awards for All
• Cheshire East
• Church Minshull Parish Council
• The Foyle Foundation
• Garfield Weston
• WREN

The Trustees are grateful to all of these for their support and without whom the Hall would not be the welcoming place it is today.

Since 2016 we have:

• Upgraded the heating and electricity to a more energy efficient level
• Built an additional meeting room to the front of the hall.
• With the help of the Parish Council, Broadband connection has been installed in the hall
• Improved the interior decoration
