St Bart's was able to return to a first full service of readings and carols, with a sound and light show accompaniment, since Covid. The traditional seven readings were accompanied with seven carols, a film depicting the arrival of the Magi and a solo of 'Silent Night' from Elli. Rev Philip Goggin player the organ, Rev Anne said the prayers and gave the Blessing and Rev Lesley gave the final reading from St John's Gospel. They were joined by many villagers, but also others from Crewe and even from Sussex. The finale was the Ukrainian carol, 'Carol of the Bells' with over 100 lighting effects in 3 minutes.
They said "It was wonderful to share the service with so many and to wish you all every blessing for the New Year."
