Gents breakfast June 2018

The wine was flowing and the spirits were high yesterday evening as over 30 of Shaun Davies' friends from the village joined him to help celebrate his retirement. It couldn't have been a more enjoyable evening as everyone raised their glasses in the evening sunshine.

And the fun didn't even stop there! At the gentlemen's breakfast this morning, the attendees all raised a glass of Guinness (courtesy of the Badger) to Shaun. What a great way to celebrate your retirement, Shaun. If you'd known you'd be so spoilt, I bet you would have retired years' ago! Many congratulations and enjoy being a man of leisure.

Cliff Richard and his mates took a London double-decker bus on their 'Summer Holiday' and Dr Beeching decided we didn't need nearly 2000 railways stations.
