At 11am this morning, Big Ben rang out across the Church and St Bart's congregation observed the two minute silence for all those who have died in conflict.

After the 'last post' had sounded, wreaths were laid by the Church PCC, the W.I., the Parish Council, Village Vision Group, Village Hall and the youth of Café and Messy Church. The Roll of Honour was read by Tim Hough and Dave Barrett delivered the reading,

The whole service was a fitting tribute with music, hymns and prayers led by Chris Challoner and John Headon.

After the National anthem and Blessing the congregation stayed for refreshments and we thank PJ Jones for the music and lighting effects.

Church Minshull can truly say "We will remember them".

The price of a mixed box will be £20 for as long as Perry's can get the produce but there are signs (as everywhere) that the wholesalers are having to increase prices which will inevitably be passed on! At least we don't have to risk the supermarkets!!This...
