""The Badger Inn was packed to bursting for the celebration of Marion Allen's 90th birthday. Marion has always been so proud of her family, so it was amazing to see how they turned out in their masses to show their appreciation of a lovely woman and a beautiful person. Sons, daughters, grandchildren, nephews and nieces, from far and wide, all showed up for Church Minshull's latest nonagenarian, along with lots and lots of her closest friends and neighbours from the village. With a photograph of Frank, her late dearly beloved husband, she was able to share her landmark moment with his presence close by.
Marion looked amazing in her three inch heels and figure hugging dress and beamed with pride as the afternoon unfolded. It was such a joy to have felt the love, appreciation and gratitude of her family, friends and neighbours, for a lady we are proud to have in Church Minshull."

Drinks were measured as 'prosecco by the gallon'

Almost the whole of our Church Minshull
The buffet kept coming, the more you ate,
Food was measured as 'goujons by the plate'
Although she is 90, she's no 'antiquitarian'
It's only a number for this gorgeous 'nonagenarian'
