New Bench in Eardswick Wood...

New bench installed...

and the lovely view...

A new bench has now been installed in Eardswick (Bluebell) Wood, as part of the new 'Minsh Trail' circular walk initiative.

The new bench has been made by the students of Reaseheath College and donated to the 'Minsh Trail' by SUMBA.

Permission to site the bench just off the public footpath, has kindly been given by landowner Geoff Ford and thanks go out to him for this. Some ground clearing and branch pruning has opened up a fabulous view across the River Weaver and beyond.

Although the river is obscured by ground foliage, it is a lovely spot now... to just pause, take 'time to stop and stare' and enjoy the peacefulness of the wood.
