St Bartholomew's Church was the venue for Chinchinha Sainter's 90th celebration service.
It was a glorious September morning Thanksgiving service, with approximately 120 invited guests .
Father Philip Sainter, Chinchinha's son, delivered the service and welcomed everyone, who had traveled near and far to be in attendance. The service started with a favourite hymn of lots of the people, 'Now thank we all our God' accompanied by Marie McKavanagh on piano and Lauren Scott on the Harp.
Chinchinha's other son, Charles read a passage of 'St Paul's exhortation to love', before everyone was treated to the enchanting voice of mezzo soprano – Susan Marrs, with a Mozart song 'Laudate Dominium'.
