Carols Round the Tree 2015

It was a wonderful evening in our village of Church Minshull on 10th December at St Bartholomew's Church annual event – Carols Round the Christmas Tree.

The event is provided by St Bart's Church to say a BIG Thank you to all who have helped and supported the Church throughout 2015.

A record breaking crowd turned up on a cold but thankfully dry night and sang Christmas Carols with great gusto, accompanied by the Co-op Funeralcare Northwest Brass Band.

After five carols we continued in church, where we also enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies.

John Headon gave a humorous address about children's performances in Nativity plays, and there were many more Carols to sing.

Thanks to everyone who came, and special thanks to David Hughes at The Badger for generously providing the Christmas tree.
