Here is a photo of me and the Boss, please ignore the glitter in my "hair" it was new years eve and I had been decorated by my Niece!

Our house, hopefully we will get the keys around mid February is Number 6 Weaver View. Where the late Mr and Mrs Buckley once lived for some time from what we can gather from the information we have received from our Solicitors. I hope we can enjoy our retirement in their house and do them justice making it our own and enjoy the house, garden and views as well as the Village as much as they did.

My husband Shaun and I have lived here for 20 years this summer. We are thankful every day that we found Church Minshull on our house search. We love living here and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Hi all.
My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a property in your lovely Village and cannot wait for us to pick up the keys and start to make new friends.
This will be our forever home as we have both recently retired and look forward to spending our retirement in your lovely village of Church Minshull. We first came across your village some 2 years ago during the brief respite period of lockdown 2020 when we moored our Narrowboat just above your village and met and chatted to one of your residents she told us about the Badger Inn. So we took a walk with our Grandson and visited your lovely village and took the obligatory stop at the Inn where we were made to feel so welcome and it didn't take long to fall in love with your Village.
A little abut us I was a Paramedic with Greater Manchester Ambulance Service and then a firefighter for 30 years. I then had to retire on ill health grounds after a heart attack and subsequent bypass surgery in 2017. My wife Jill after bringing up our children had worked in admin for around 20 years but after being furloughed she was made redundant in 2021 took early retirement in 2022. We have two grown up children and four Grandchildren two girls and two boys and a grandchild on the way. The house we have purchased requires some work so we will not be full time residents until this work is completed. Hopefully this will not take too long and we will be able to enjoy the coming spring and summer in our new home. We are both so looking forward to our move.
So if you see some strange faces walking round the Village or in the Badger covered in paint, plaster or even sticking plasters and possibly looking tired, say hello as that may be us.

This morning I was chatting to an engineer who was surveying telegraph poles. He said he was from a company called Air Band who install ultrafast broad band in rural areas. When they get planning permission it could be summer for installations. As BT will be doing nothing anytime soon and other installers concentrate on populous areas this could be interesting. I've registered interest so they can see there is some demand.
