Just wanted to let you know we have been litter picking in the village and along the canal between bridges 13.-15. Unfortunately, in only a short period of time, we filled 3 large black bin liners full of plastic bottles, beer cans and bottles, fishing floats and fishing line, empty food cans, multiple dog poo bags and discarded sweet/food wrappers to name but a few.

This litter poses a risk to our local wildlife and also is an eyesore.

We plan to continue to litter pick and would welcome any ideas about how we can prevent / reduce littering in our village. (Contact above)
