Thank you from Ukraine
Before the end of 2022, a transfer of £3,500 was made to the Ukraine Refugee Fund, with St Bart's claiming back Gift Aid which had added £600 to that total. This was the final sum raised by Church Minshull village and St. Bart's Church to support Ukrainian refugees which was raised by the Church bric-a brac stall, Richard Cluley's Band Concert, the Platinum Jubilee event in St Bart's and the making and sale of Ukraine ribbon badges. Others held their own events and sales and made donations to the fund and the following response was received.
Thank you for your donation to the Emergency Ukraine Appeal. Your donation will help fund emergency, supplies for the people of Ukraine – warm clothing, blankets, food, access to safe shelter and medical support. As we speak, we are in the European countries that border Ukraine and are on the frontline supporting people and their families. Your donation will make such a huge difference to them, thank you.
