Sports & Social Update September 2019
The Bridge sessions on Tuesday evenings, for beginners, and on Thursdays for more advanced players, which have continued throughout the summer, are soon to be joined by other regular activities — dancing and indoor bowling — now that autumn is approaching Ballroom & Latin Dancing is to start again on a weekly basis on Monday 30 September and Social Indoor Bowling will re-start on Friday 4 October, on an alternative weekly basis.
The more serious Bowling takes place weekly on Tuesday mornings. Presently outdoors at a green in Nantwich (where it has been throughout the summer) it is the intention that this will remain outdoors for as long as the weather is kind but will move indoors when the weather turns inclement — probably sometime in October.
All these activities will take place in Church Minshull Village Hall so have a look at the "Local Groups / CM Sports & Social Club" page for more information, or contact:
Jeanne Stockdale on 01270 522239 for Bowling and Bridge sessions or Larry Taylor on 01270 522572 for Ballroom & Latin Dancing and Social Indoor Bowling sessions.
A Date for your diary — following on from the success of the wine tasting evening last year, we are organising a gin tasting evening which will take place on 12 October. Rodney Densem Wines of Nantwich will again be our "hosts" for the evening, and full details will be posted in a couple of weeks time when all the arrangements have been confirmed.

Sadly, the adjacent house, flooded last February was inundated...
