The Chairman of Church Minshull Parish Council, Dave Wallis, met with Peter Wilson recently to agree a regime of litter picking, weed spraying and sign maintenance, initially within the core of the village.

Peter will work 2 hours a week for the PC, starting week commencing 29th June and will first of all focus on weed spraying, as the litter situation at the moment is not to bad, following the recent local efforts to present a clean and tidy village to the judges of the 'Best Kept Village Competition'.

Over and above this, the PC will discuss Peter's schedule and widening his remit to include the other parts of the parish at the next PC meeting.
