St. Bartholomew's Church has just received some fantastic news from The Chancellor at the offices of the Bishop of Chester. They have finally been granted "Faculty Approval" (the ecclesiastical equivalent of planning permission) for the planned alterations at St. Bart's. The Churchwardens will be meeting with the Church Architect some time in the next week or so (End October 2019) to finalise the Schedule of Works. More update on this coming soon."

The bells rang out on a beautiful, sunny Remembrance Sunday and a large number of Church Minshull people and friends gathered at St Bart's to remember all those who had fought in recent conflicts. Dave Barrett and John Headon took the service,Tim Hough read the list of 'the fallen', Simon Reynolds read the lesson and Audrey Colquhoun played the organ. As the Chimes of Big Ben rang out...
