On 12/3/21 significant surface oil pollution was visible on our local canal between bridges 11-15. There were also some areas of thick black patches of oil evident. Myself and a neighbour separately reported the pollution to the canal and river trust as we were concerned about the impact on the environment. They informed us they planned to visit the canal to assess the situation.
