A Nightingale Sang in St Bart's Church

A Nightingale sang in Church Minshull tonight – or rather The Nightingales, NHS Choir led by Sandra Wallis, conductor and Musical Director.

All the choir members work or have worked at our local Hospital at Leighton, and gave their time to entertain us this evening.

This was a free event and we were treated to a beautiful evening of song enjoyed by all, finishing with a MIGHTY rendition of God Save our Queen to wish our Queen a HAPPY BIRTHDAY on Thursday 21st April

In the interval a free glass of of wine courtesy of the wonderful Badger – thanks to David Hughes for always supporting our events.

Just under £300 was received in Donations and this was divided between the Church and the NHS Scanner Appeal. Thank you to all who gave so generously
