Minshull Madness is approaching fast — Saturday 1st September 2018 is the date for your diaries!

To tie in with the theme of Minshull Madness, this year's August competition is to make a model/display based on characters, scenes or objects in "Alice in Wonderland".

You can construct any sort of model/display, large or small, that can stand at the front of your house, in the window or in the garden, during the last week of August. It can be made out of any type of material, including new or recycled items, flowers and plants.

There are two age groups:
Under 16
16 and over

Last year we enjoyed the sunflowers that brightened up the village. This year's competition will be even more eye-catching!

The bells rang out on a beautiful, sunny Remembrance Sunday and a large number of Church Minshull people and friends gathered at St Bart's to remember all those who had fought in recent conflicts. Dave Barrett and John Headon took the service,Tim Hough read the list of 'the fallen', Simon Reynolds read the lesson and Audrey Colquhoun played the organ. As the Chimes of Big Ben rang out...
