""Hi all – Jean Jones here (9 Village farm),
I've been making these laundry bags for nurses and wondered if it might be an interest to anybody. The post on the facebook image is what got me started. The photos with red bags in are from Facebook and not mine. The orange one is mine. I was actually able to give two to a nurse from Leighton Hospital last night and she was very grateful. Charlotte from No 8 has kindly donated some fabric and sewing accessories so if anyone would like to join me in making some I can pass fabric on. Old pillowcases can also be used. Minimum measurements are 15 x 12 inches. I am happy for any finished bags to be left on my doorstep in a plastic bag and I will contact the charity office at Leighton to arrange drop off. Hope this is helpful. Jean. (email jmj57@hotmail.co.uk)"

"Update 3/4/2020 things have moved on a pace! I've discovered a group called "For the Love of Scrubs" linked to Mid-Cheshire Hospitals – Leighton/Northwich. People are sewing scrubs- trousers and tops. Fabric needs to be ordered and can be precut to pattern pieces. For more information join the closed Facebook page for"For the Love of Scrubs" or contact me. Tudor Surgery, Nantwich are also asking for laundry bags so I should think any Doctor's Surgery or carehome would be happy to receive them. "
