The Church Minshull Community Website
By Parish Council - GR - 21st April 2017 8:42am
Further information has been received from Cheshire East Council concerning the availability of a Community Grant towards the costs of an event.
Cheshire East Council has previously supported street parties for both The Queen's Jubilee and Queen's 90th birthday celebrations which collectively saw 325 street parties and other events held within our Borough. It is anticipated that The Great Get Together will be even bigger than these events and we want you to join in. We know from these previous events that people have met neighbours they never knew before, brought people into communities who were previously lonely or didn't feel connected, and bonded communities to make them stronger. The Great Get Together can continue to build on this.
Apply for a Community Grant — deadline Friday 19 May
Please view our community grant web pages for more information and how to apply for a grant to hold a Great Get Together event.
