Floral Day Results

Over heard in St Bart's today (15/12/2021) .....

"This is keeping me sane today"

"This is my Christmas present to me"

"Flowers are good for the soul"

Giggling, laughter and oohs and ahs

What was going on you may well ask! It was a day festive flower arranging, wreaths, table designs, mantelpiece arrangements and much more. Complete beginners learnt how to moss wreaths. More experienced ladies shared their knowledge and skills and we all learnt from each other.

Delicious soup, rolls and cake provided sustenance at lunch time and many ladies carried on creating well into the afternoon. Festive refreshments flowed all day keeping us all "merry and bright."

Thanks to everyone who made the day such a pleasurable experience, from the soup makers to those who swept up all the pine needles. Thanks to the ladies from Wistaston Flower Club who came along to offer help and joined in the fun. All the proceeds went to St Bart's

We have been asked to do another session so watch this space for details of a spring event.

The event raised £338.50 for St.Bart's Church.
