Craft Session May 2023

Craft Taster Session.

Recently, a group of villagers and friends joined together to try their hands at making cards. The session was led by Carolyn and Sue from Audlem and they brought some very creative examples of their own work to inspire us. They provided us with everything needed to design our own cards and gift tags from a treasure trove of papers, lace, ribbons and much more.

Margaret Denton treated us all to some delicious cakes and Rachael Morton Lewis kept the tea and coffees filled to keep the creative juices flowing!

At the end of the evening we thanked Carolyn and Sue for the time and skill they shared with us before handing over £75 for their chosen charity, St Luke's Hospice.

One young voice decided that she had found her new hobby!

Thank you to Church Minshull Sports and Social Club for organising the evening and introducing us to a different craft. Watch out for more taster sessions in the Autumn.
