Fancy a good old knees up in October when the nights are drawing in?
Charlie, from Village Farm, has organised a Ceilidh event to help raise funds for her son Alfie, aged 13. Alfie has the amazing opportunity to go to Eswatini in Africa in 2026 with the World Challenge Organisation and his school, Middlewich High.
During Alfie's expedition he will be working alongside The Neighbourhood Care Project, an initiative set up to support children who have sadly lost their parents through the HIV virus and AIDS. Alfie and his group will be planning fun activities to run with the children within their school and will be learning about each others lives.
In the last few months, Alfie and his friends, who are also on the trip, have been fundraising at local events in the area and have been doing really well!
This trip is very expensive as you can imagine so to help raise funds to send Alfie on his way we have an amazing night planned for the whole family. We have a professional Irish band The House Devils and their caller who will be getting us all up dancing, ticket price includes a complementary drink on arrival and homemade Irish food. The fabulous Badger Inn will be running the bar! Oh and we all love a fancy dress so there's a prize for the best tartan themed outfit! (Optional of course!)
Please join us for a fun night for this very worthy cause.
If any local businesses would like to donate a prize for our raffle it would be very much appreciated.
