Carols Round the Tree – 9th Dec. 2021.

It was a joy to welcome so many people to our annual event with the Acceler8 Brass Band. Some had made their yearly pilgrimage from Warrington, determined not to miss the fun. The weather could not make its' mind up to rain or not so the whole 'singathon' was inside church, but the 15 carols were sung with gusto, throats liberally lubricated with mulled wine, wine and fruit juice, accompanied by copies amounts of mince pies. The band enjoyed themselves so much, they even played during the 2 intervals. John told his usual humorous school nativity story and the Rev. Anne thanked the band for playing and everyone for coming. Merry Christmas everyone!
