What 3 things can a retired gentleman do in Church Minshull to celebrate his 70th birthday?

• #1. He can go to the Badger for lunch. Did that 2 days before with friends and very good it was too.
• #2. He can get a bus to Northwich, ponder the delights of AbleWorld and the shopping trolley emporium, and then walk home along the weaver Way and canal.
• #3 He can remind himself that the geography of Cheshire has not changed, and that it is not the 8-10 miles he remembered, but 13.6 miles, and that's why his aged knees ache.
• And #4 of 3 (!) is being thankful to be alive, and enjoying village life and the countryside.
