Alfie's Ceilidh Fundraiser

A huge thank you to everyone that came to the Ceilidh Night! It was a fabulous evening with everyone getting involved in the dancing right from the start. We had an hour of dancing lead by Ron from The House Devils. Then followed the food, traditional Celtic pies, stews and mash. The raffle was then called by Church Minshull’s very own wee leprechaun, Chris. The best dressed prize, chosen by Grace from Middlewich, went to Larry Bannon for his Scottish Kilt, we won’t talk about what he was hiding underneath, but it gave everyone a giggle! Another hour of ceilidh dancing followed and finished off with a disco. Lots of money was raised to help fund Alfie’s charity trip to Africa in 2026.

Thank you so much Larry, Kerry, Georgina, Karen and Steve for helping us set up and clear away, to everyone that came and to those that donated raffle prizes. We raised nearly £800, Wow! Now to start planning the next soirée..
