Acton Walk – Sunday March 6th

Join me, Caroline and Keith for an easy 5.5 mile walk on the 6th March. We will stroll along the Shropshire Union and Llangollen canals and of return to Acton via footpaths across the Dorfold Estate.

The pace of the walk as per usual will be relaxed, and the route will involve mostly canal towpath, with some field footpaths. The footpaths in places maybe be muddy and wet, with a number of stiles that must be negotiated towards the end of the walk. As always, I recommend your wear stout outdoor shoes or walking shoes / boots.

We will start the walk from outside  St. Mary's Church, Acton at 1pm.
Carpark at side of Church.

Those who wish to indulge in cake and a drink, we will be back in time to visit the Acton Church "Tea in the Tower" community cafe (a small donation towards "Church Funds" is appreciated for the drink and cake).

If you wish to join me, could you be there for 12.45 for a prompt 1pm start please.

Dogs on leads are welcome but they will have to be able to negotiate or be carried over the stiles?

3 April,8 May,12 June,3 July ("Summer challenge walk" of 8 miles)
