OVER RD POSSIBLE CLOSURE

POSSIBLE CLOSURE OF OVER ROAD by EEL BROOK LATER TODAY (20/1/21) OR TOMORROW MORNING (21/1/21)

Warning for walkers not to take the circuit through the woods as the Lower Field is flooded.

UPDATE 20/1/2021 19:30hrs It has been told to us at villagearena.org that Over road parallel to Weaver View is completely flooded for a 50 meter stretch. This has apparently been reported to Cheshire East on 4-5 occasions to Cheshire East highways in the last couple of days. The flood is apparently due to "run off" from the fields behind Weaver View and the breaching of the River Weaver. (Update from Salli Jeynes)
