Best Kept Village Competition

Church Minshull has entered a number of categories in this years Community Pride Awards, run by Cheshire Community Action.

The headline award is the 'Best Kept Village' category and judges are visiting Church Minshull on Tuesday, 12th May 2015 to assess our entry against the award criteria.

Litter picks and footpath cleaning has already taken place in most areas, but householders and residents are asked for their support, by trimming hedges which overgrow the footpaths and picking up any loose litter they may see, along the way.

Surprisingly, along the footpaths, there were many instances of dog fouling, so please, dog owners...ensure any fouling is cleaned up straight away.

Your support in this initiative is really appreciated and hopefully the judges will recognise this too, when it comes to the awards in October 2015.
