The Queen's Jubilee

This year sees celebrations to commemorate the Queens Platinum Jubilee.

The focus for the celebrations takes place between the 2nd and 5th June when there are a number of events happening around the country some of which Church Minshull already intends to take part in.

The question is what do we in Church Minshull want to do to celebrate what will be a once in a lifetime event?

The Minshull Events Group are happy to help coordinate things but need your help and advice to make it a success. Amongst the ideas already suggested are a village social/barbecue, Open Mike sessions where villagers can demonstrate their skills in performing, a play or theatre performance or Open Gardens event.

Clearly not everyone will want to go to everything nor can we do everything, but we would like to know what you are most interested in or what you would like to help with. Contact us on CMJubilee@hotmail.com or speak to anyone from the Events Group and let us know your views/thoughts.
