Church Minshull's website ARENA, scooped Runner-up in the 'Best Website' category of the 2015 CCA Community Pride Awards.
This is a fantastic achievement, given that the winner (and congratulations to them) was Audlem Village, who have professional web designers, countless contributors and a population nearing 3000 residents to keep their pages vibrant and newsworthy.
So, in retrospect, we were 'best of the rest', by beating all the other 56 villages and towns, who entered the awards this year.
ARENA thanks everyone who has contributed,sent in articles and/or photos, to keep our little website refreshed on a regular basis...well done to you all!
ARENA Editor: I am really proud of what has been achieved by ARENA in such a short period of time. The new look website is not yet two years old, yet here we are with probably the highest recognition we could ever hope to achieve, given the size of our little community.
The timing of this recognition, aligns with the end of my tenure as Editor of ARENA and as I post my last article, I want to thank all those who have helped make ARENA what it is today, particularly Meikle Carss, without who, much of what you see on screen would not have happened.

St Bartholomew's Church is holding its Messy Christingle service at 11am on 28th January 2018. This family service, which will be taken by Reverend Anne, will celebrate Candlemas. Christingles, which represent hope in the darkness, will be made during the craft session at the beginning of the service and the congregation will then carry their Christingles into church, dancing and singing...
