Exciting News

We have been informed that the 2017 Royal Automobile Club 1000 Mile Trial is passing through our village on 11th of July at approximately 16:45

They are coming through Church Minshull via Cross Lane and onto the B5074 before turning left down Paradise Lane and away from Church Minshull.

This is a rare chance to see special vehicles -- some approaching one hundred years old -- right on our doorstep. The crews who drive these vehicles enjoy seeing residents encouraging them along the route.

Hope we can give them a GREAT CHEER

It has felt like the longest summer ever already as I listen to the noise of the rain on our roof. The grass is still a dry shade of crunchy brown from the unbelievable Mediterranean weather conditions we have been having in this little corner of England. It is the hottest summer I can remember since I was a child, collecting water from stand pipes in the streets of Cardiff. Who could have...
