At the recent WI meeting proud members displayed their finished banner. All the WI's in Cheshire were asked to make a banner to help celebrate the centenary of the National Institute of Women's Institutes. These will be on display at Gawsworth Hall and The Cheshire Show. The village institute was not founded until 1946 , so is only 69 years old!

Day 1: Salty and Shipmate have now been despatched onto "proper" cruises and so McSkipper takes his life in his hands by welcoming two new shipmates aboard...
