Fashion Show Worleston

A fashion show held at Worleston Village Hall in September 2017 was so successful that the organisers are running another event on 8 June 2018 — and it promises to be even bigger and better! Run by St. Oswald's, Worleston, C.E Primary School PTA, the event will showcase top name high street brands for both ladies and children with savings of up to 75 per cent off retail prices. All proceeds will go towards funding the school's new 'trim trail' playground equipment which requires £9,800 of PTA funding.

This year's fashion show, once again being held at Worleston Village Hall and run in partnership with The Fashion Style House, will showcase top name brands such as Coast, Dorothy Perkins, River Island, Marks and Spencer, Wallis, Zara and Miss Selfridge. Clothing, accessories and jewellery will be available to buy at massive discounts and unlike last year, there will also be children's clothing and accessories. Brands include Joules, Kite, Pediped and MiniJammies, amongst others.

In addition to the fashion show, attendees will be treated to nail painting by Mari, a bar, a raffle and glass of fizz or juice on arrival.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start. Tickets are just £5 and are available from St Oswald's, Worleston, C.E Primary School office or by contacting Laura on 07984 573097. Tickets are expected to sell-out fast, so don't miss out!

I don't know what you do in the morning, but my routine involves a check round the fields, clearing off any unwanted crows and rooks, and a bathe in Eel Brook. Well I tell himself its a bathe but really I'm looking for eels, they are said to be good for one's coat — its the slime apparently. Since I've lived here I've hunted for them diligently but with no...

It has felt like the longest summer ever already as I listen to the noise of the rain on our roof. The grass is still a dry shade of crunchy brown from the unbelievable Mediterranean weather conditions we have been having in this little corner of England. It is the hottest summer I can remember since I was a child, collecting water from stand pipes in the streets of Cardiff. Who could have...
