VE Day vintage tea party

Step back in time and celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the First World War, with CM Visions ' Vintage Tea Party' to be held at 4:00pm, in the Village Hall on Saturday, May 10th 2014.

Archduke Ferdinand has been assassinated and up and down the country, Britain's young men are signing up for a war, 'that will be over by Christmas', Lord Kitchener 'Wants You' to help the war effort.

Enjoy a drink from antique teapots, china tea cups with loose leaf tea, but no rationing of sugar, this time around...!

So come and have a lovely cup of 'rosey lea' on us and partake of the sandwiches, petits fours, cakes, scones..and of course, Church Mishull's very own Rosemary shortbread...!

Join in the theme of 1914s dress and be waited on by the staff, whilst perusing the memorabilia and watching a film of the day, on the big screen.

Lots for everyone...kids quizzes and music of the era...!

Tickets are free of charge, but on a first come basis and if you would like to make a small donation of appreciation, CM Vision will ensure that it reaches a services charity.
